National Education Show 2007

All the Primary 5s will get to view the NE Show as the MOE(Ministry of Education)wanted to instill the pride of being a Singaporean to us.They wanted us to have a sense of belonging and patriotism.Our forefathers had paid the price and now the future is in our hands.

The NE Show was held at the floating platform in Marina Bay.We went to view the NE Show on 7th of July.We were very lucky as the other schools' P5 students and us were the first group of people to view the NE Show at the floating platform in Marina Bay instead of viewing it in Padang.

On that particular day,we went into raptures.The mood and atmosphere was vibrant and highly-spirited.There was a variety of performances.

First, there was the parade marching.The parade marchers looked smart in their uniforms.They shot the air with a deafening noise.

Next,the orchestra was performing.They were competent in their instruments.The singers sang merrily.The songs were a language of love and passion.Music was the heartbeat of our lives in Singapore.

After that,it was the skit performance.It was a beautiful sight.Sea creatures were everywhere. Depth of feelings were emanated from the musical.

Finally, there was my favourite performance! It was the parachute and fighter planes performance. It was a captivating sight. We were all spell bound by it and had no inkling as to how they could execute such acts.

After the performances ended, the fireworks mesmerised us. It was the limelight of the show ended, we went back home wearily. It was a really exciting day. We were all highly impressed by the sterling performances. Everyone was sure to be proud to be a Singaporean.
